Four Approval Gates at a Glance
The project moves forward when the output for the current gate is clear and accepted.
1. Scope Defined
The brief records product use, quantity, fixed requirements, preferences and open decisions.
2. References Approved
Approve the correct drawing, sample, artwork and packaging revisions in writing.
3. Production Recorded
Production and order-specific checks follow the approved references.
4. Shipment Prepared
Pack counts, labels, carton marks and shipment details are confirmed for the order.
Six Stages and Their Required Outputs

1. Submit the Product Brief
Define what is fixed, what is preferred and what remains open for recommendation.

2. Review Feasibility and Quote Scope
Resolve the production route, quote inclusions and decisions that must be closed before sampling.

We review dimensions, tooth geometry, material fit, branding area, packaging and any tooling needs. - Material and production method
Material preparation, shaping or molding, finishing, branding and assembly methods are matched to the design. - Output
The quotation records the product, quantity, custom work, sample route, proposed schedule and unresolved choices.
3. Develop the Agreed Sample
Prepare the agreed sample type from the current drawing, material, artwork and packaging references.

Logo method, placement, size, artwork and any packaging labels - Timing and output
Typical sample lead time is 15 days; tooling, sourcing or revisions may add time. Record the sample and all source revisions.
4. Approve the Production References
Approve the final sample and the exact documents that production will follow.

Check tooth finish, edges, overall shape, moving parts where relevant and the intended handling feel. - Color, size, and branding
Use the agreed drawing, physical or color reference, artwork proof and approved sample. - Approval output
Record written approval for the sample, drawing, artwork and packaging specification; later changes require a revised reference.
5. Produce and Check the Order
Typical production lead time is 28 days after sample approval; the quotation should state the actual trigger and any project-specific exceptions.

Check relevant dimensions, forming, tooth processing, surface finish and branding as work progresses. - Output
Final checks compare the batch with the approved reference and record the order-specific inspection points.
6. Pack and Prepare Shipment
Pack finished goods to the approved specification and confirm shipment responsibilities in the order documents.
