Approve Pattern Distribution, Not One Cropped Image
A small reference image cannot show how a larger patterned sheet will appear across every cut comb.

Record the acceptable scale, placement and distribution of tortoiseshell, marble or other patterned areas. - Material record

Tie Thickness to the Tooth and Edge Profile
The drawing must describe a three-dimensional cut part, not only its front outline.

Mark the typical 90–230 mm length or custom size, width, handle shape and edge contour. - Sheet thickness
Confirm the selected thickness together with any tapered or rounded edge direction. - Tooth geometry
Record spacing, length, tip shape and transitions, then check dimensions and tolerances on the sample.
Review Pattern and Polish on the Finished Comb
Sheet appearance and surface finish should be judged after cutting, sanding and polishing.

Keep Branding Clear of High-Variation Areas
Patterned material can reduce logo contrast, especially when the mark crosses light and dark areas.

Treat an inlay as project specific; use the protective pack when clearer color artwork or detailed information is needed. - Artwork control
Supply vector artwork with final size, orientation, color and any depth requirement that must be reviewed.
Protect the Polished Face and Edges
Pack approval should include the contact surfaces around the comb, not only the printed artwork.
