Treat Engraving as a Material Test
Engraving does not add an ink color. The visible result comes from the material response, so a digital proof cannot confirm final contrast or depth.

- Check: Fine detail, distance from teeth and edges, grain direction and visibility in normal use
- Approve: Contrast, depth, heat effect, edge quality and position on the finished surface
