Choose a Logo Printing Method for Your Comb

Match the artwork to the actual material, surface geometry, print area, color contrast and handling conditions.

  • Method selected after surface and artwork review
  • Placement drawing and physical sample used together

Start With Surface, Artwork and Expected Handling

A method that works on a flat pack may not suit a curved comb body. Provide vector artwork and define the available area before choosing a process.

  • Artwork inputs: Vector file, print colors, minimum detail, orientation and intended logo size
  • Product inputs: Material, surface texture, curvature, safe distance from teeth, edges or hinges
  • Approval inputs: Color, opacity, registration, position and any agreed handling or rub check

Before sending artwork, compare printing and laser engraving and review the logo artwork checklist.

Select the Method by Surface and Artwork

Availability depends on the actual material and geometry; the branded sample confirms what the proof alone cannot show.

Screen Printing

Review for suitable flat areas, simple marks and limited-color artwork.

  • Strong simple marks and larger print areas
  • Plastic combs and selected packaging surfaces
  • Approve ink color, coverage, position and adhesion

Pad Printing

Consider for small artwork on curved or restricted product areas.

  • Useful for compact or shaped plastic surfaces
  • Select by artwork size and surface geometry
  • Fine detail and opacity depend on ink and base color

UV Printing

Review for detailed or multi-color graphics on a compatible surface.

  • Color logos and selected flat product areas
  • Review resolution and white-ink needs
  • Adhesion and abrasion expectations must be agreed

Molded Marks or Packaging Branding

Use a raised or recessed molded mark where the product route allows it, or move complex artwork to the pack.

  • Raised, recessed or molded-in plastic logos
  • Foil on suitable packaging and accessories
  • Tooling, artwork and material compatibility affect the route

From Vector File to Branded Sample

The proof controls artwork and position; the physical sample confirms color, coverage and interaction with the surface.
